Michael Detomo, RA

Michael joined Cole & Denny Architects in 2006 and is a principal the firm. He is a NCARB-certified registered architect licensed in Virginia. Michael has completed many local projects that are part of the neighborhood fabric, which includes his participation in community planning and policy; he is a co-author of the City of Alexandria Waterfront Small Area Plan. Michael has served as an Alexandria City Commissioner of the Arts and a Director of the Torpedo Factory Art Center. As a resident of Alexandria, he is a member of the Del Ray Business Association, and the Chamber of Commerce. Michael received his Bachelors and Masters of Architecture from Virginia Tech. His firm responsibilities include project management, construction administration services, and community outreach.

Louie received a Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in Public and Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His firm responsibilities include BIM Management, project management, technical design and construction administration. Louie has used his expertise in building envelope design and has worked on several historically sensitive projects.
